A network is simply two or more computers that are linked together. We need it so that we can be hooked to each others internets.

Four benefits of using a network between WANs and LANs:

LAN is limited geographical area, WAn covers a large geographical area, WANs are made up of several connected LANs, and LANs cover a small area.

Least three common network topologies:

Ring topology, bus topology, and star topology.

Four exampls of network operation system software:

Metropolitan area network (MAN), Public access network (PAN), Value added network (vAN), and Virtual private network (VPN).
